Tom Larimer
After successfully owning his own business for over 9 years, Tom decided to pursue a career in the legal field. Tom gained experience as an associate attorney in the fields of business and general litigation, business transactions, and estate planning and probate administration. In February 2010, Tom started his own law firm with Sam Sears and continues to practice in these areas of law.
When not practicing law, Tom enjoys spending time with his family and playing in shows with his band, Liquid Assets.
Sam Sears
After graduating cum laude from Willamette College of Law in 2004, Sam was employed as staff counsel for the Judiciary Committee of the Oregon Legislature during the 2005 Legislative Session. After taking a one-year hiatus from law to teach English in Japan with his wife, Sam returned to Oregon to work as staff attorney for the Oregon Law Commission during the 2007 Legislative Session.
Through his work in the legislative arena, Sam developed an excellent understanding of the legislative process and development of legislative history. In private practice, Sam uses that understanding to help his clients deal with the laws and regulations to which they are required to comply.
In November 2007, Sam left the legislative arena entered into private practice. Sam’s practice focuses on employment law, debtor-creditor matters, administrative law, estate planning, and general civil litigation.
